Sloganeering

Is it just me, or have ads become less and less subtle about the subtextual use of sex in their slogans. Two examples:

Charmin Toilet Paper: "Best for Bear Bottoms"
Dr. Pepper: "Get Berried in Cream"

The Charmin one especially is absolutely fantastic and could very well be referring to me.

Wow! I didn't realize. The charmin commercials always make me squeal. The way he snuggles his but in the ground. I don't know what it is, but I always die when I see that. It's very cute.

I am hoping pampers commercials are not referring to you. Imagine you were a director and you had to direct a pampers commercial? Would you? What would you do?

I always want to take a picture of that scene when it says "Best For Bear Bottoms" because I know quite a few that would get a chuckle out of it. Do you think the Charmin people had any idea they were pandering to a unique portion of the gay population?

Niko: I'd like to think that they were aware. I'm just very disappointed that I didn't come up with it.
